Hey friends! This month has been a busy one in our house as we adjusted to me going back to work after maternity leave and getting in the routine of daycare drop-offs and pick-ups. We all had a bad cold and cough for a while as well but are finally over it.
Chloe turned 12 weeks old yesterday and I cannot stop thinking about how fast she’s growing. She has slept through the night three consecutive days this week (yay for sleep!) and is this close to rolling over onto her tummy. She smiles all the time and I’m pretty sure I heard her giggle the other day. Here are a couple recent pictures of her!
I added the text to that first photo using the Little Nugget app. It has all sorts of fun graphics and fonts you can add to photos. If you have babies or younger kids, you’ll love it! I’ve been using it to make a photo like this every couple weeks to document her big milestones.

As I shared on Instagram the other day, it feels like I have 182ish projects in progress for the nursery right now. I’m hoping to get some of the projects done soon so I can share them with you. Until then, that picture above shows you the cute elephant decals I made with my Silhouette machine.
It’s been a few years since I’ve regularly read books, but I’ve been getting back into reading lately. I’ve found it to be the perfect thing to do while nursing Chloe rather than wasting all that time away scrolling through my phone. Here are a few books I’m reading or have pre-ordered recently:
- Grace, Not Perfection: Embracing Simplicity, Celebrating Joy
- A Simplified Life: Tactical Tools for Intentional Living
- Girl, Wash Your Face: Stop Believing the Lies About Who You Are so You Can Become Who You Were Meant to Be
- Being Boss: Take Control of Your Work and Live Life on Your Own Terms
I Got A Label Maker!!!
I got this label maker for Christmas! I haven’t had a chance to use it a ton yet, but I do have grand plans to label all kinds of things in our house ;). I love that it connects to my phone via Bluetooth. You can choose from all sorts of fonts and also add cute icons. They also have lots of colors of tape (even iron-on tape), but I’m sticking with white and clear for now since they’ll go with everything.
My New Favorite Meal
I tried this sheet pan pork chop recipe recently after finding it on Pinterest. It was SO GOOD! I already made it for a second time last night. I made extra to take for lunch at work and this meal reheats well, too (and neither of us are great at eating leftovers).
A Jaw-Dropping Wall
My blogger friend covered an entire wall in her entry with wood shims and it. looks. amazing. You have to go take a look here.
What I’m Watching
David and I started watching Stranger Things and we’re both hooked! So creepy but SO GOOD. I’m also making my way through all the seasons of Friends because I always need a show like that that I can watch while multitasking on my computer at night.
It’s no secret that I love organizing, and my recent blog post about the top systems I use to organize my whole life has been very popular among readers. If you missed it, you can read it here.
Our local grocery store delivers orders over $100 for free if you select a 4-hour delivery window. I am loving the fact that I can make our meal plan and shop for groceries during my lunch break and they show up on our doorstep. It’s a big time saver and money saver since I’m ordering exactly what we need (without impulse purchases) plus I can double-check my shopping list so I don’t forget anything (like I always do when I’m rushing through the store). Check if your store delivers, if not most of them are now doing curbside pickup which is also a time saver, especially with little kids you’d otherwise have to herd through the store.
