Happy Friday! I was on a work trip all of last week so this week flew by since I felt like I was playing catch-up from being gone. This was my first time away from my baby and it was so good to see her little smile when I walked in the door last Friday.
Chloe was baptized a couple weeks ago and I cannot stop thinking about how cute she was that day. She was on her absolute best behavior and made it through church, the ceremony and an entire afternoon of visitors at our house without a single cry or nap. Seriously, she looked and acted like a little angel that day.

Chloe’s baptism dress was so stinking adorable! I ordered it from an Etsy shop and it’s absolutely beautiful with its lace bodice and tulle skirt. It’s handmade and was surprisingly affordable.
Two recipes that are rocking my world lately: homemade honey lemonade and lazy cookie bars (these cookies are ridiculously easy). I tried both of these when we had family visiting and they were a big hit!
The FixnZip company asked me if I wanted to try out their product and, since my purse has sadly been sitting in the closet with a broken zipper since last summer, I agreed to give it a try. It really worked! I used the medium FixnZip to fix my purse and added the original keychain/pull thingie from my old zipper onto the new one so you can hardly tell the difference. Now my purse can come back out of hibernation! If you have a broken zipper on a purse, jacket, sleeping bag, etc. you should really check out their products. I’m impressed.
I finished Girl Wash Your Face recently and it is really good! Every chapter has an actionable takeaway and the short chapters are essentially standalone life lessons so you can easily pick it up and read a few pages as you have time. It’s an especially great read for moms.
I’ve mentioned my obsession with these Rubbermaid food containers many times before, but I really do constantly appreciate them. I’ve been doing so good at meal prep and packing our lunches to bring to work, and it’s really nice to have quality containers that actually look nice but are still safe to pop in the microwave.
I’ve almost checked off all of my projects for the nursery! It’s only taken me 8 months, but the room is finally how I envisioned it from day one. My latest project was building DIY picture frames for some art I made for over the crib. I love, love, love the pretty pop of color they add to that wall!
