Looking for a daily to do list printable? I have a pretty one just for you!

With the chaos of chasing littles, cheering on the soccer team, racing to meet work deadlines and scrambling to get dinner on the table every night, there’s a lot to keep up with every day! There are simply not enough hours, right?
I’m an avid list-maker and swear it’s the only way I stay sane! One of the things that I love to do to stay organized is to create a pretty printable to help me organize all of the information I need to keep track of in one place. And today’s your lucky day because I have a new daily to do list printable to share with you!

6 Tips For Planning Your Day
When it comes to planning your day, there are some basic principals that can help. When I’m feeling extra stressed out or have a huge project to work on, I sometimes get in such a hurry to begin working that I skip over the planning phase. Although that means I get started on the urgent task a bit sooner, it always results in me feeling frazzled and rushed all day long.
Taking just a few minutes to plan my day before I dive into things helps me stay focused. Here are some tips for planning your day–hopefully you’ll find them helpful!
1 | Plan Before Your Day Begins
This is a biggie! Waking up and knowing exactly what to focus on first can relieve a lot of the stress that comes with a monstrous to do list. Try planning your day out the night before or at the end of each workday. That way you’ll be able to hit the ground running in the morning.
2 | Write Everything Down
Do a massive brain dump of all of those to-dos swirling around your brain. Getting all of those thoughts down on paper helps you focus on the task at hand. Prioritizing is also easier when you can see everything written down in front of you.

3 | Categorize Tasks
Once you’ve completed your brain dump, divide everything into categories. I’ve included some common categories on this daily to do list printable:
- Due Today
- Due Tomorrow
- Appointments/Errands
- Call/Email/Text
- Household Tasks
- Wildcard (Name This Category However You Wish!)
Categorizing tasks helps organize your thoughts and identify priorities in each area. It’s also helpful to complete similar tasks back to back while you’re in the right mindset, so try working on all of the tasks in a certain category for a couple hours rather than frequently shifting your focus between categories.

4 | Prioritize, Prioritize and Prioritize Some More
Once you’ve categorized your tasks, read through them and cross some things out. Decide which things are urgent and which things are would-be-nice-to-dos.
I am a very ambitious list-maker and my lists are always miles longer than I can ever realistically finish. Taking a bit of time to analyze the true importance of every task and deleting some of them from my list helps me narrow my focus to the true priorities.

5 | Create A Schedule
Time block your day by assigning tasks to specific times so you know exactly what to be working on when. The left half of this daily to do list printable is devoted to time blocking.
First, write in any appointments or meetings that happen at a specific time. Then fill in the empty time slots with other tasks.
Take into account your typical energy levels throughout the day. I personally am the most focused mid-morning, so I intentionally schedule the task that requires the most brain power for that time. On the contrary, I’m usually drained by late afternoon so I save the more repetitive and mindless tasks for the end of my workday.
6 | Allow For Buffer Time
When it comes to planning your day, don’t fall into the trap of over-planning! Leave extra time sprinkled throughout the day so you have time to catch up if things run long or to add anything that comes up.
